desert storm(s)

Last night as we were driving home from the Foote's house (after eating way too much "cowboy cobbler," for which I want the recipe) we witnessed yet another Arizona lightening storm. Weather is so different in the desert. There wasn't any rain falling on our car, but we could see two lightning storms on either side of the moon. The lightning went off every two seconds on both sides. It looked like dueling banjos or some "bigger and better" game where the moon was the referee.
I couldn't really take a picture, so I drew it on facebook graffiti. You get the idea.

one of my favorite things about this time of year. Storms! Usually there are more. Maybe September will be good??

Ha. You're funny with the art. I love storms too. Tonight rain hit so hard while I was at Walmart that it sounded like Springville was getting bombed.

I LOVE the art! Can you make it, like, big enough to hang on a wall?
